Hi, I’m Evan Murray and I own and operate Skeletal Studios as well as work as an audio engineer out of the prestigious Encapsulated Studios. I’ve been involved in local music for over 20 years now on all different instruments and I received my education in audio production from Webster University in 2011. I also interned with John Feldmann (The Used, Blink-182, Panic! At the Disco, Good Charlotte). I’ve done multiple small DIY tours over the years and worked as an engineer on various projects as well.
Skeletal Studios is my dream come true; a full commercial studio that is capable of bridging the financial gap between recording in your garage and coughing up your life savings. This was my struggle as a young musician so I went to college for audio production and got to become very knowledgeable in it.
I’ve played in many bands over the years on guitar, bass, drums, vocals and some piano even. I specialize in punk, rock, metal, singer-songwriter, indie, pop and electronic. I’m still involved in a local band in the St. Louis area. Working with bands and helping them get their music out there is something I’m thoroughly passionate about so if you’re looking to make some music without breaking the bank, please contact me and let’s make it happen!
